We offer a firewood processing service to homeowners, estates and landowners.
We provide processing for a number of properties and organisations claiming under the RHI scheme.
We also offer bulk services for firewood log merchants and those selling firewood logs on a small to medium scale.
We are able to process cordwood and lengths of timber into cut, split firewood. Firewood can be cut to between 80mm and 600mm in length. Our mobile unit is able to process round timber up to a maximum diameter of 35cm. Larger logs can be cut with a chainsaw and dropped into the splitter unit.
At optimum efficiency we can process approximately 10 tonnes of green cordwood a day.
The processor will be delivered and powered by tractor, enabling us to process in forest locations if required. Delivery is free within five miles of Sellindge, Kent. Distances further than this may incur a delivery surcharge.
We can supply round timber for processing
We can deliver cordwood to your property prior to processing, should you require additional raw material.
To minimize double handling, firewood is best processed directly into its final storage location, for example a loose stack, bulk bags, crates or a trailer. The output conveyor is able to feed into a container with a wall height of three metres.
When processing larger cordwood (over 20cm diameter, or over three meters length) we have a crane and log deck available for hire to increase loading speed.
